Our Tarrytown Project

Wiring an Entertainment Pavilion

Our Tarrytown pavilion project needed wiring for the network, distributed audio, displays, and a theater with a golf simulator. We organized the systems around a main equipment closet and a second rack concealed in the media room cabinetry.

A 42-inch rack in a dedicated closet holds network equipment, audio equipment, and video sources.
Media Room
A second rack in the cabinetry serves the theater and golf simulator room.
Infrastructure
Structured wiring supports the pavilion's connected rooms and equipment locations.

Scope & Options

Cable Routes & Equipment Space

The wiring plan starts with where each device will go and where its cables will end. Planning during design gives us time to coordinate equipment storage, access, and electrical requirements with your builder.

Network & Speaker Wiring

We plan the cable type and run for each device, including TVs, access points, speakers, and control equipment.

Racks & Access

We allow for equipment space, service access, cable organization, and the power requirements your electrical contractor needs to address.

Labeling & Qualification

We label the cable runs, inspect wiring at construction milestones, and qualify network cabling with Fluke equipment at trim-out.

The Process

From Plans to Tested Connections

  1. 01

    Map the Devices

We review the plans or walk the home to locate displays, speakers, access points, and equipment.

  2. 02

    Coordinate the Routes

We plan cable paths and rack space with the construction team, or assess access in finished rooms.

  3. 03

    Install & Inspect

We run the agreed cabling and inspect it as the build progresses through construction milestones.

  4. 04

    Terminate & Qualify

At trim-out, we terminate, label, and test the runs, including network cable qualification and its report.

Questions, Answered

Common Questions

When should we plan wiring for a new build or remodel?

Bring us in during design. Equipment closets, cable paths, and electrical needs can affect the plans. If construction has already begun, we review what is still accessible and coordinate the remaining work.

Can you add Ethernet or speaker wiring to a finished home?

Yes, where access allows. We inspect walls, ceilings, and adjacent spaces to plan the route and minimize openings. A separate drywall contractor, handyman, or painter handles any patching.

Can you use wiring that is already in the house?

We inspect and test the existing cabling for the intended job. Its type, condition, route, and termination determine what can be reused.

Can you finish or troubleshoot another installer's wiring?

Yes. We can assess existing runs, trace connections, and discuss repairs, retermination, labeling, or new cabling where needed.

How much does structured wiring cost?

Cable count, length, access, equipment storage, and construction stage affect the scope. Service calls carry a minimum charge. Larger projects receive a detailed, room-by-room proposal before you commit.
