One engraved keypad replaces the switch bank.
A row of five switches by the back door means guessing every time. A Control4 keypad puts Dinner, Patio, and Goodnight where the switches used to be, and backlit engraving names every button.
Lux by Control4 brings the keypad up to the standard of the room it lives in: premium metal faceplates in finishes like antique bronze, chrome, satin nickel, and venetian bronze, available wired and wireless.

The same scenes fit every budget: Control4's standard keypads and dimmers carry the same engraving and scene control in 37 button configurations and ten finishes. In new construction, centralized lighting panels move the dimming hardware off the wall entirely, eight circuits per module, leaving clean walls and clean sight lines.

Light beyond the bulb.
Vibrant is Control4's own LED lighting line: fully tunable white and full-color fixtures and linear runs that join the same scenes and schedules as the keypads on the wall. Temperature, color, and brightness become part of the design of the room.
Daylight
Tunable white LEDs track the sun automatically: warm at sunrise, cooler and brighter through midday, warm and low again by evening.

Can you do this without opening my walls?
In most existing homes, yes. Lutron wireless dimmers, switches, and keypads replace what is on your wall today, and battery or plug-in shades install without new wiring. New construction gets the fully wired version of the same design.
What is a lighting scene, exactly?
A scene is one button that sets many lights at once. Entertain might bring the kitchen to full, dim the living room to half, and light the patio. Goodnight turns everything off and lowers the shades. We program the scenes around your actual evenings, and the keypad buttons are engraved with their names.
Do motorized shades need to be plugged in?
Lutron shades come in battery, plug-in, and hardwired versions. Battery shades typically run three to five years between charges, and hardwired shades recess completely into new construction or a remodel.
Can my existing lamps join the system?
Yes. Plug-in lamp dimmers bring floor and table lamps into your scenes, so Goodnight really does turn off everything.

Both. Bennett Technologies is a Control4 Certified dealer and a Lutron PRO Silver partner. In a Control4 home, Lux keypads and Vibrant fixtures keep lighting native to the automation system, and Lutron dimming and shading integrate cleanly alongside it. We design the mix around your home and the system it runs.
What is tunable white lighting?
A tunable white LED changes color temperature as well as brightness, from warm candlelight to cool daylight. Control4's Vibrant line adds a Daylight feature that tracks the sun automatically through the day, the same technology behind our wellness lighting work.
