How It Fits Together

Every system stands on the one below it.

Read it like one of our rack drawings, from the experience down to the foundation.

The Experience

Control, Made Simple

Control4, or the devices you already own, ties the house together: your TVs, lighting scenes that dim and brighten a room into just the right mood, and the whole home theater running from one simple button. Controls live on a keypad, up to six buttons in a single gang and expandable as the room allows.

The Craft · Since 1996

Audio & Video

The work we are known for: theaters, whole-home audio, TVs placed right, and outdoor entertainment.

The Foundation

The Network

Structured wiring, business-class routing, and true Wi-Fi coverage. Everything above rides on this layer, so we engineer it first.

The same standard covers the whole range: one TV mounted right, a whole-home build, a small business network. Most of our work arrives as a referral from someone we did a small job for.

Every Project, Every Time

From the first walkthrough to the tenth year.

Depending on your project's needs, we follow the eight steps, in order. A one-hour service call receives the same attention to detail, but rarely needs every step.

  1. 01

    Consultation

We walk the house with you, room by room, and listen to how you actually use it. Most of the plan comes out of that one conversation.

  2. 02

    Project Specification

You get the plan in writing before anything is ordered: what goes in each room, what it does, and what it costs.

  3. 03

    Design & Engineering

CAD drawing markup for the wiring, the equipment rack, TV and speaker locations, plus the network plan and more, depending on the scope of your project.

  4. 04

    Wire Installation

Fiber, copper, and speaker wiring pulled for all the audio, video, networking, shading, and additional wiring your home will need. Every run meticulously routed, labeled, and fully tested.

  5. 05

    Implementation

Our team supplies all the equipment and installs the displays, speakers, keypads, and networking gear. A project manager keeps your builder, designer, electrician, and schedule in step.

  6. 06

    Programming

Touch screens, keypads, and remotes get built and configured around your routines. Every device is configured and updated. Then we sit with you and teach you how it operates.

  7. 07

    System Monitoring

We monitor uptime and potential faults on our dashboard before you notice them. This lets us keep you running, often with a quick phone call before a visit is ever needed.

  8. 08

    Maintenance & Support

Call and you get us, the people who built your system and know it by heart. We hate monthly fees as much as you do, so we support you the old school way: call during business hours and we have you covered. When an existing client has an urgent problem, we answer after hours too.

Questions, Answered

Working with us, answered

Is there a minimum project size?

No. A single TV mount, a Wi-Fi fix, or an hour of troubleshooting is welcome here, and it gets the same crew and the same standard as a whole-home build. Our first client in 1996 called about a $35 service call and stayed with us for roughly a million dollars of work over the following ten years.

Can you take over a system another company installed?

Yes, and a good share of our work starts that way. We take on Control4 and Lutron systems from other dealers, trace and repair wiring someone else pulled, and tell you plainly what is worth keeping.

Do you work with our builder, architect, or designer?

Regularly, and the earlier the better. Wiring is inexpensive during framing and disruptive after drywall, so we prefer to be in the plan set from the start. On site we coordinate directly with the electrician and the general contractor.

What does a project cost?

The honest answer is a range. We have a minimum charge for a service call. Simple installations like a TV are performed on an hourly basis plus equipment and tax. Larger projects receive a detailed proposal, documented room by room with real numbers, and you see those numbers before you commit to anything. Having a budget and sharing it lets us tailor a solution that fits your wallet and your needs.

What happens after the installation?

The system stays on our radar. We monitor it remotely, push software updates, and pick up the phone when something acts up. No service plans, no monthly fees: when you need us, you call and we have you covered. Plenty of our clients have been calling for more than a decade.
