Kingsland Residence
Fifteen-plus televisions, a grand theater with a 165-inch screen, and speakers color-matched to blend into every room.
The Project
The heart of this very large project is the grand home theater: raised seating platforms with multiple rows, a laser projector on a 165-inch acoustically transparent screen, and two large flat screens flanking it for game days. In-wall subwoofers keep the room clean while delivering serious low end, touch screen control runs it all, and every speaker in the room is hidden without sacrificing performance.
The rest of the house carries the same standard across more than fifteen televisions. The lounge pairs multiple TVs with whole-home audio. Each bedroom has its own TV with simplified control that guests figure out in seconds. The living room runs an 85-inch display over a custom Triad soundbar built to match the width of the screen, tied to in-ceiling surrounds, and the master bedroom features a Sony OLED.
Whole-home audio runs throughout and continues outdoors, where the patio adds a TV and outdoor Wi-Fi. Pool control, full lighting control, and HVAC control complete a property that runs as one system. This is also the second home we have built for these owners: the relationship started with a network fix at their Austin home.
